How To Update Your Canon DSLR Firmware.

May 23rd, 2013 Firmware 8 comments 884

In the below video I discuss how to update your Canon DSLR firmware. It’s not as difficult as you might think but it is very important to follow the instructions carefully. You can go to Canon’s website and do a search for your model to see what the latest firmware number is. Then look in your camera’s menu under one of the wrench icons for the word Firmware. Clicking select will tell you what version you have so you can see if you are due for an update. Feel free to comment with any questions.

I received a Canon OES 10D as a gift from a friend. Only after telling him of my passion for photography, and that I had one of the original Olympus OM1He felt for me and gave this camera. I could not affords a good camera I was gifted this one. I know its old and for me who cares. After spending the morning trying to figure out how to upgrade the firmware your video had it done for me in ten minutes. Its a small victory but its a victory! Thanks for the help.
